Collecting colour is a brilliant way to expand your daily practice. By introducing an activity, you instantly create a sense of purpose to the simple act of looking. Which means you actively‘see’ what your looking at.⁠

Here are my fave ways to introduce this into your daily creative practice:⁠

1). Pick a colour to follow for that day, or maybe even a week.⁠
⁠
2). Photograph and collect anything you find in that colour.⁠
⁠
3). Notice the different hues you can find if that colour.⁠
⁠
4). Document! This will help inform you of how you personally perceive colour. ⁠

It’s Friday 13th! ⁠

I’ve never really explored where this day originated from before and there are many anecdotal stories as to its birth. ⁠

I only remember noticing it when I was a kid and we were told the white lady that haunted our school appeared on this day every year. If we looked in to the school through the top windows from the playground, we could see her roaming the corridors. Of course we never saw her, although I’m pretty sure I convinced myself I did once. ⁠
